Maxxima's MLN-16 is an LED Occupancy Sensor Night Light. This night light has 6 very bright LEDs in a row behind a line-patterned plastic cover and comes in the color white. This night light is on the pricey side for a night light, but is a unique shape and doesn't have to/cannot be plugged in. It takes 4 AA batteries.1. It can be on all the time, off all the time, or only come on when it senses motion AND it happens to be dark, provided you do not inadvertently shadow or cover up the sensor. 2. It has a flat bottom and top so you can set it on a flat surface or you can use the included mounting bracket (that swivels and rotates) to mount it wherever you would like 3. We bought several (5?) types of battery powered LED lights at one time for various places in our home. This one is the most unique in its shape being a long, thin bar as opposed to a more square array of bulbs.It is not the best in terms of light-sensitivity (most are too willing to come on, in my opinion, wasting battery power), but it does work as expected in our basement stairwell, and it was easy to set in place for the first few days, then very easy for my husband to attach to the wall when he got around to it. We've had it in place for a couple of weeks on the first set of batteries. |
